1. Overview

At UtiliTools, we stand behind the quality and value of our Pro subscription. We offer a satisfaction guarantee to ensure you can try our premium features with confidence. This policy outlines the terms under which refunds are available for our Pro plan, which is offered at $4.99 per month or $39 per year, with all payments processed securely through Paddle, our merchant of record.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new Pro subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase — no questions asked.

This guarantee applies to your first payment only, whether you chose the monthly or annual billing cycle. Simply reach out to us within the 14-day window and we will process your refund promptly.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly Pro subscriptions are billed at $4.99 per month on a recurring basis. You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings.

  • Upon cancellation, you will retain full access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
  • After the 14-day money-back guarantee period has passed, no partial or prorated refunds are available for monthly subscriptions.
  • Your subscription will not renew after the current billing cycle ends.

4. Annual Subscriptions

Annual Pro subscriptions are billed at $39 per year, offering a significant discount over the monthly plan. You may cancel your annual subscription at any time.

  • Upon cancellation, you will retain full access to Pro features until the end of your current annual billing period.
  • A prorated refund is available if you cancel within the first 30 days of your annual subscription. The refund amount will be calculated based on the unused portion of your subscription.
  • After 30 days, no refunds are available for annual subscriptions, but you will continue to have access until the end of your paid period.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you have two options:

  • Email us at refunds@utilitools.dev with your order ID and the email address associated with your account. Our team will review and process your request.
  • Cancel directly from your account settings page. If eligible for a refund based on the terms above, the refund will be initiated automatically.

6. Processing Time

All refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Once a refund is approved, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account. The exact timing depends on your payment method and financial institution.

You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle once the refund has been processed.

7. Free Plan

UtiliTools offers a generous selection of free tools that are available to everyone without any payment or account registration. Since no payment is required for the free plan, no refund is applicable. Free tools will always remain free.

8. Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in the following circumstances:

  • Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us directly, we may be unable to process a refund and your account may be suspended.
  • Abuse of service: If we determine that your account has been used in violation of our Terms of Service, including but not limited to fraudulent activity or abuse of our tools and infrastructure.
  • Multiple refund requests: If you have previously received a refund and subscribe again, subsequent refund requests may be denied at our discretion. The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to first-time purchases only.
